Policies

Our Policies

Anyone 5 years of age or older can get a library card.  Minors need a parent signature.

Books:  Normal borrowing time is 28 days. As many as 10 books can be borrowed at a time.  A late fee of 10¢ per day will be charged for all overdue books each day that the library is open (max $3.00 per book).  Books may be subject to fines if  they are returned;  in poor condition, overly scented, dirty, ripped, stained, etc. Books lost or damaged beyond repair  must be paid for in full. Lost books cannot be paid for with a DVD.

DVD & VHS:  Must be 12 years of age or older.  Up to 5 videos per family can be checked out for 1 week.  A late fee of 10¢ per day that we are open will be charged for each late video (max $3.00). If you lose or damage a CD, DVD/Blu Ray, you can replace it with another of equal value. Some restrictions apply.

Magazines:  Come on in and browse through our small collection.

You may not borrow materials if you owe a fine or have overdue items that have not been returned.

To renew an item, please call or come in before the due date.

Please take care of library books by:

  • Only look at books with clean hands
  • Use a bookmark
  • Keep books away from pets
  • Keeping books dry
